Opening Ceremony
Norm Kelley, Toronto Deputy Mayor, Bas Balkissoon, Liberal MPP, Richmond Hill Councillor Castro Liu and Consul Shi XiaoGuang from the Consulate General of PR of China were present at the ribbon cutting ceremony of the joint art and photography exhibit of Master Tam, a renowned Chinese painter and Buddhist scholar and Dr. Fraser Shein, a Canadian photographer on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Metro Hall.
One Stroke literally translated from Chinese is more than just a line. Rather is the flow of the mind of a painter into his brush stroke or the photographer capturing the moment in an instant. Though both artists have different backgrounds and styles, their expressions of shapes and lines into beautiful artwork is a must see. This exhibit will run from 4-8th November at Metro Hall.
